Marle Hall is a residential outdoor education centre situated near Llandudno on the North Wales coast, on the edge of the Snowdonia National park.

The Centre is set within 35 acres of beautiful mixed woodland, much of which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and includes some rare species of plant. From the top of the woods there are panoramic views over the Conwy Estuary to Snowdonia and Anglesey. And being in the rain shadow of the mountains means we have a lot of sun!

Marle Hall is non-profit making and part of Warwickshire Outdoor Education Service. We provide a wide range of programmes for a variety of groups. Many of these come from within Warwickshire, but we are happy to cater for groups and individuals from all parts of the country. All enquiries are welcomed.

Opportunities include learning outside the classroom for schools, through adventurous activities and environmental studies, either emphasising personal and social education or linked directly to curriculum support; a variety of programmes for youth groups; team building and management training; National Governing Body Awards for individuals; social weekends; family breaks; day visits; room hire facilities for conferences or corporate training; in fact almost anything you can think of!

All our courses are tailor made in partnership with you, and are designed to meet your specific learning outcomes. With over 40 years experience in developing and delivering safe and successful outdoor programmes, we are confident that we can cater for your needs and abilities.

Our particular strengths we consider to be in three main areas:-

Friendly, welcoming and experienced staff: Whether it is the very experienced and highly qualified tutorial staff who work in partnership with visiting group leaders to provide challenging and stimulating experiences to meet specific aims and outcomes and bring the curriculum to life; or the supportive, friendly and accommodating kitchen, domestic, and other support staff; everyone at Marle Hall works as a team to make your stay with us a special and memorable one. It really is a family atmosphere!

A wonderful location: North Wales boasts a great diversity of environmental study sites and a wonderful playground to have ‘real adventures’ in the real outdoors! We are well located for access to all that the coastline and Snowdonia mountains have to offer. All this is within easy driving distance from the centre, yet we are only one mile from a mainline railway station!

Experiential learning and personal and social development: From the first experience away from home to management team building, we give people real responsibility for themselves, their actions and each other. At the end of a course everyone will know what it takes to co-operate within a team and what it takes to face a challenge.
