Leader training

Marle Hall runs validation and revalidation courses for D of E leaders who wish to take groups out from Warwickshire. The course either allows you to lead your groups in terrain below 600 metres (-600) or above 600 metres (+600).

The -600 course is run by Kingsbury Water Park, our sister centre in Warwickshire. The course is based in the Peak District and is a 2 day course.

For more information on this course contact either Mark Daniel at KWP markdaniel@warwickshire.gov.uk or James Vann (D of E Award Officer) jamesvann@warwickshire.gov.uk

At Marle Hall we run the +600 course based at the Centre in North Wales. The course again takes place over 2 days and focuses on navigation and group management, asking you to assess scenarios that may arise whilst out with groups.

For further information regarding this course contact Simon Patton at Marle Hall (click here), or for more information about the scheme contact Neil Wilson (Head of Warwickshire Outdoor Education Service) neilwilson@warwickshire.gov.uk
