These four qualities sum up our ethos and permeate through all that we do at Marle Hall.

From domestic duties, which help to run our close knit community, to the full-on challenge of adventurous activities and expeditions, we believe that a focus on these four elements will give students, young people and staff a framework and vocabulary on which to build and develop essential personal qualities and values.

This is what we see as the ‘Golden Thread’ that is woven through all your experiences at Marle Hall. Our ethos allows us to bring into sharper focus key parts of the National and Youth curricula.

Throughout our courses we incorporate reflection and reviewing processes, which enable the experiences to become relevant. This allows development and learning to be focused upon a range of personal, social and key skills:-
