Residential secondary courses join the Marle Hall community usually for 2-5 days, either during the week or over a weekend, but longer stays are possible.
Whatever programme of activities you follow during your stay, you will also be encouraged to take on the Centre ethos of Teamwork, Respect, Challenge and Responsibility.
These qualities are woven like a golden thread through everything we do, whether it is keeping bedrooms tidy, holding a team members rope while they climb, laying the tables for meals or lending a helping hand in the gorge.
Through this ethos we aim to meet key stage 3 and 4 requirements of teamwork, communication, problem solving and OAA in the Physical Education curriculum.
Activities normally available on Secondary age courses include the following:
Gorge Walking
Rock Climbing & Abseiling
Mountain Walking
Canoeing & Kayaking
Ropes Courses
Orienteering
Mine Exploration
Problem Solving/ Team Building
Sea Level Traversing
Mountain Biking
